| "Mom has been getting angry and giving
everyone around her some pretty mean looks. None of us take it
personally and if I tell her in a light hearted way that she's
being grouchy she pats my hand and says she's sorry."

| "I've
wanted to share with someone like you one little thing that my
brother stumbled upon. Sometimes when any of our elderly got
frantic about something that we couldn't comprehend my brother
would put his arm around that person in a loving way and say,
"I don't think that's something you need to worry
about." It was amazing how often it helped.
Just saying that made the person feel we had recognized a need
they had, but it wasn't something they needed to worry about so
they could calm down." RubyLee |

| "You are doing great things in helping so many
care for their loved ones! I'm not the type who normally
responds like this but wanted to speak up for the 'silent
majority' who are being helped that you may not always hear
from. God BlessYou!!!!!" Kirby |

| "You are to be commended. I admire
what you are doing! My first response was to write you with
a big thank you and expression of appreciation." Ed |

| "I have been taking care of my mother for three years now.
... It's tough taking in your parents but think of what they did for
you. Good luck to all that try. It's hard on the family but hang in
there." John |

| "I loved your site. As the day comes near for my mother to require
more assistance from her children, I constantly look for ideas and experiences
of others that will be helpful. Your emphasis on how rewarding those years
were gives me new hope that it may be the same for me/us. Thank you and
God bless you for your valuable insight." Connie |

not alone!!!" Debi |

| "I admire your loving tenacity, your willingness to stay the
course. ... I anticipate, because of the demographics, that your
level of family care will become more normal as we ... will begin to swamp the
health care system." Dick |

| "I have spent the last couple of hours reading 'your story.' What
can I say? You are a caring person, and the highest compliment I can give
you is that your parents would be proud of you." Diane |
